Please help the American Legion to Fund the New Veterans Memorial in Veterans Park. See the image of the new site above. It will finally include monuments dedicated to those who served in all our major conflicts, from the American Revolution to the present day. Five new monuments will be added. Click Here to read the text on the new Monuments.They will cover:
1) Early Wars from the Revolution to Spanish American War
2) World War II
3) Korean War
4) Vietnam War
5) Gulf Wars and War on Terror.
These will be added to the WWI monument that is already there.
It will provide educational information on our country's history. Both on the Monuments as well as through a Virtual Link.
We need your support. If you donate $100 or more, we will include a listing with a photo and brief bio of a veteran from your family in our Virtual Roster, accessible from the site. Donation Program Levels
We are happy to receive donations of any amount, however, we have established a few special donation levels.
Platinum ($1,000 and over) Will Receive a Plaque and Listing on the Virtual Sponsor List
Gold ($500 to $999) Will Receive a Certificate and Listing on the Virtual Sponsor List
Bronze ($100 to $499) Will have a Listing on the Virtual Roster
Donations from Individuals at the levels above will automatically include listings in the Virtual Roster of Veterans.

Our goal is to raise $65,000 and to have the Memorial completed by Veterans Day 2019.
Your donations will allow us to accomplish this. As a 501 (C)(19) non profit organization, donations to American Legion Post 162 are tax deductible to the extent allowable by the law.
